Thames Grand Entrance Set

Creating a Deluxe Grand Entrance to your property is the ultimate aspiration of any homeowner whether it is a cottage or a manor house. The choices in external doors with matching or corresponding side sidelights have much improved. Consequently, when refurbishing or building from new an increasing number of property owners and developers choose to create wider openings to take a Grand Entrance Set. This Cottage Style Grand Entrance Set uses a Thames External Oak veneered door pre-fitted with a small vision panel of clear sections of glass, encapsulated in lead, then encased into a Tri-glazed unit. This door style uses period features with planked effect panels, a style that has been reproduced for centuries. Two Classic, Universal sidelights used either side to compliment the Thames door are an ideal compliment to allow privacy yet plenty of light. The glass design of black leaded pattern inlaid within a subtle, floral patterned glass including bevels is sophisticated. Ideally complimented by the addition of black furniture, it can look equally good with modern fittings. Both the Door and Sidelights are engineered with a solid laminated core, dowelled constructed to achieve maximum stability then faced with a thick Oak veneer. These doors are manufactured with 18mm timber edgings allowing the doors to be rebated on site for up to 12mm; general trimming to the complete edge should not exceed 6mm (if necessary please contact our sales team for technical advice). This Grand Entrance door set includes appropriate Oak Frames for 1 door and 2 sidelights, weather bars and is supplied unfinished (Please refer to our finishing instructions tab on right).
