Gone are the days when fire certified doors were just practical, flush, ply-faced doors without style or character. We offer doors which compliment many of our standard door designs which comply to building regulations tested to BS 476 pt22. Check the Flame symbol on title pages for compatible designs. The main, visible difference these fire doors have is the increased thickness of 45mm, though some may have a slight design change due to fire regulation constraints.
The designs and styles available range through traditional and contemporary tastes and include most timber types. The development of our fire doors is backed up by certification after testing. We also supply the frames which are required to conform with regulations when fitting fire doors. The set must include the fitting of intumescent fire seals and usually regulations also require a smoke seal. Please check on these details when ordering.
Many of the internal fire doors we supply can also include glazed options which again comply with the rules governed by building compliance. In addition, hardware which compliments fire door specifications is also available.
