Additional Information on Door Handles & Locks

When using our drop down menu option on each handle design you can, if you wish, choose just pairs of handles. However, as you will also need hinges, latches or locks to make the door handles work, we have provided box set options which will include everything you need to hang your door. For example, when choosing door hardware for a bathroom you will want a handle and a locking system which does not use a key. If your chosen handle design has a back plate then it will have an integral lock within the handle. Alternatively, the handles on a rose door hardware set will include a separate Turn and Release system plus escutcheons for both sides of the door with the appropriate latches, locks and also hinges. When choosing the box set for certified Fire doors the sets will include 3 hinges as the doors are heavier, handles with the fire symbol indicate that they are appropriate for this type of door. The fir tree symbol indicates that this hardware set is suitable for external applications and will include handles an appropriate lock and 3 hinges.
