External Kershaws Heritage No.09 Softwood White Primed Tri-Glazed Door

The Heritage No.09 door is part of the Kershaws Custom Range. These doors are ideal as external replacement doors and also the perfect choice for new properties with traditional styling. This classic 1930's design is very popular as many properties were built around this time, consequently these doors re-establish the original designs found in homes of this era. The top circular panel with eyebrow moulding is glazed in a leaded glass design typical of the era. The Tri-Glazed unit uses traditional, leaded and coloured glass encased in two sheets of clear, toughened British glass for protection and security. The three triple, cricket bat, lower panels surrounded by timber mouldings are also typical of the 1930's styling. Other details are the shelf with scroll frieze. This door is made in the UK by traditionally skilled craftspeople to suit your individual size of opening. Each door is manufactured using solid lengths of kiln-dried timber, clamped and joined in the traditional manner of Mortice and Tenon. Modern glues, which chemically bond the timbers, are used for added strength. The solid panels utilise man-made, moisture resistant materials, which give more stability than the original, conventionally used timbers.
